I've just come back from two months in Greece. I sailed the seas, climbed the stone steps to the pantheon, and visited dozens of cities. these are a few things I learned about backpacking Greece that I would like to share. 1- Hospitality - Greek hospitality is great. At the end of most meals, I was treated to some free wine or a free shot from the manager. 2- Some parts of Greece were heavily influenced by the Venetians. 3- Greece and Northern Macedonia don't get along. Bangkok When I think of travel in Thailand my mind always goes to Bangkok I immediately think of hectic traffic, large malls, tiny tuk tuks, street full of drunken tourist, and massive temples.
